Marlborough Concert Orchestra (MCO) plays light music and popular classics. It has entertaining rehearsals and performs 3 exciting concerts a year. It aims to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects. Members’ ages range from 17 – 70!
MCO’s conductor is Christopher Irby, a former ‘cellist with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the orchestra is led by Ramsbury violinist, Edward Judge.

The Marlborough Concert Orchestra had its first rehearsal on the 10th January 2006. It is based at St John's School and Community College in Marlborough and rehearses weekly during term time.
The orchestra is registered as a charity (registered number 1113775).
