Marlborough Concert Orchestra (MCO) plays light music and popular classics. It is based at Christchurch, New Road, Marlborough in Marlborough and rehearses weekly during term time. It has entertaining rehearsals and performs 3 exciting concerts a year. It aims to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects. Members’ ages range from 17 – 70! 

 

MCO’s conductor is Christopher Irby, a former ‘cellist with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

 


The orchestra is registered as a charity (registered number 1113775).
